Reflections

“I was watching this film and I was wondering, what am I, an African America man doing watching a movie about the Holocaust?’Then I watched a little more and I realized, it wasn’t a movie just for people who knew about the Holocaust. It was a movie for everyone. It was a movie for me.”

“I thought I knew what it was about, but it really surprised me. Seriously.”

“It’s funny, I can’t get it out of my head.”

“It makes you want to be a better person.”

“If after what Henri’s been through, he can do what he does for others, it makes you think, why can’t I? Why don’t I?”

“It deserves to be seen by everyone”

“With all the movies built on controversy and violence, this is built on doing the right thing, despite whatever problems you might have.”

“The forgiveness. Isn’t that the way we’re supposed to live our lives?”

“Thank you for making this movie. That’s all I can say.”
